"After the wedding was over and everyone went home and the dust settled, I was able to reflect on what had just happened and how many people I needed to Thank. The 1st person that had come to mind was Tysh. Let me start from the beginning. I show up for our 1st meeting with a car full of people: My Dad, his friend and her daughter, Joseph (my soon to be husband) and me. I am not sure what she was thinking as we took over her wonderful studio but she was very nice and greeted us with smiles. Now of course with 5 people you now have 5 different styles and opinions and starting out Joseph and I were clueless about invitations. We did not look through magazines or research; I guess we thought we would just see it and know. Well Tysh being the professional she is, knew just the right type of questions to ask and started pulling out books. It was like a magic show, she could tell just by our body language if we were liking an invitation or not. Before we knew it we were down to one book and just a couple of selections. At this point my father and everyone else were allowed to give their opinions. Not to long afterwards we all agreed on the most beautiful invitation I have ever seen. I had no idea but my invitation became the focal point of my wedding. My invitation was very classy but simple just as the wedding was outside (Vargos) with no decorations, just simple and the reception was Ivory w/ Ivory Flowers, classy. Tysh was excellent in pulling everything together to match, right down to the card stock and I had a lot of paper products, everything from the thank you cards to the table numbers! For seven months I truly felt that Tysh was my personal Wedding Planner.She helped me with more than just the paper products but also with proper wedding etiquette to gifts for my ushers. I was always able to talk to her and she scheduled appointments around my schedule. I met with her more times than I could count and when I was at her studio it was as relaxing as a massage at a spa. I was able to actually enjoy the planning of the wedding by looking at pretty books and shopping in her studio instead of the typical wedding stress everyone else applies. It was also very uplifting seeing her with her beautiful children and very helpful husband. She has what a new bride could only hope for. If you would ask me which of her creations was my favorite it would be my program. Just to back track for a moment: on top of the arrival of the masses at our 1st meeting, after picking out the invitations, thank you cards and place seating cards, Tysh begins to show us programs with dedications inside because we have informed her of my mother passing away. Well all it took was one look and my father, Joseph and I started crying. Tysh didn’t know what to do and she even started tearing up. She grabbed the program and said maybe we should do this at another time. We all started laughing but Tysh never brought up the program again. Well, a week before the wedding I decided to do the program. Tysh should have told me it was too late but she didn’t. She stayed with me for hours while I called around finding out the order of service and what music was going to be played. Who knows how late she was up that night putting it together but by the next morning I had a proof and my programs where picked up one day before my wedding.
